diio detects commitments automatically during conversation analysis, but does not always capture everything. You can manually add any missing commitment: tasks of yours, your counterpart's, or a third party's. Manual commitments behave the same as automatic ones: they travel to the CRM, appear in reports, and can be marked as completed.
How to add a commitment
In the Main tab, locate the Commitments card in the right column.
Click "+ Add commitment".
Write the commitment text clearly and in actionable form.
Assign the owner: you, your counterpart, or a third party.
Add a deadline if you have one (optional but recommended).
Save. The commitment stays in the list alongside the automatically detected ones.
How to write useful commitments
A well-written commitment has three elements: who, what, and when. Compare:
Vague.
Useful.
Apply the same logic in any context:
Recruiting: "Send formal offer to candidate on Monday June 2nd."
Post-sales: "Coordinate training session with client support team — before end of month."
Internal coordination: "Share planning meeting minutes with the whole team before Tuesday."
When to add manually
Commitments made during parts of the conversation where the audio was muted, cut, or noisy.
Informal commitments mentioned in passing that diio did not mark as explicit commitments.
Commitments that arose after hanging up, via message or in the hallway.
