When you log in to diio for the first time with Google or Microsoft SSO, you do not need to configure your calendar or email manually. Some connections happen automatically. Others, however, require additional steps.
Understanding the difference from the beginning saves time and avoids the confusion of looking for a feature that has not been activated yet.
What connects automatically
With your first SSO login, diio connects three things without you having to do anything:
Calendar. Google Calendar if you use Google Workspace, or Outlook if you use Microsoft 365. diio uses it to detect your scheduled meetings and know when to join as a bot.
Corporate email. To correctly identify you and the appointments associated with your calendar.
Profile. Name, email, and profile photo, pulled directly from your identity provider.
With these three connections already active, diio can start detecting your upcoming meetings and joining them as a bot from day one.
What requires additional configuration
Some connections are not activated automatically when you log in. These require a manual step — either by you or by your organization’s Settings Admin.
CRM HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Odoo
The CRM connection is configured by the Settings Admin from Settings → Integrations → CRM. This is a one-time process for the entire organization.
Until it is connected, diio analyzes your conversations normally, but it does not sync data to the CRM or associate meetings with contacts, companies, or deals.
If you do not know whether your CRM is already connected, check the status in Settings → Integrations. If it appears as “Connected,” you do not need to do anything.
diio Chrome extension
The extension is required for three features: recording meetings in Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, analyzing WhatsApp Web conversations, and analyzing LinkedIn messages. Without it, these three features are not available.
How to install it:
Open Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add to Chrome and confirm the permissions.
Once installed, click the diio icon in the extensions bar and log in with your account.
Requirements: it only works in Google Chrome, with your diio session active in the same browser. It is not compatible with Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
If the icon does not appear in the bar, go to the extensions menu, the puzzle icon in Chrome, search for diio, and pin it to the bar.
diio chat on WhatsApp
diio has a WhatsApp chat channel where you can ask questions about your conversations, commitments, and metrics without opening the platform.
To activate it, go to Settings → My preferences → Chat with diio on WhatsApp, enter your number, and confirm the verification code diio sends you on WhatsApp.
Once active, you can ask things like “what commitments do I have pending this week?” or “summarize my last meeting with [client].”
