With diio, you can analyze in-person conversations and get the same insights, learnings, and follow-up support you would get from any virtual meeting.
In this article, we’ll explain what you need, how to set it up, and how to use it step by step.
What does this feature allow you to do?
Analyze conversations that happen outside Zoom, Meet, or Teams
Get automatic insights, key takeaways, and meeting summaries
Centralize all your commercial interactions in diio, regardless of the channel
Maintain full traceability in the Past Meetings section
Before you start: schedule the meeting correctly
To ensure your in-person meeting appears correctly in My Meetings, it’s very important to follow this recommendation:
Schedule the meeting in your main calendar as an in-person meeting without a video call link.
That means:
Create the meeting in your usual calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.)
Do not include a Zoom, Meet, or Teams link
Leave it as a standard in-person meeting
Why is this important?
Because when you upload the audio to diio, you’ll be able to select that calendar event, and the meeting will be properly associated and displayed in My Meetings, just like any regular virtual meeting.
If the event includes a video call link, it may be interpreted as a virtual meeting instead of a manually uploaded in-person one.
The key point:
👉 The calendar event must not contain a video call link.
Step 1: Activate diio’s WhatsApp chat
Follow these steps:
Go to Preferences → Contact Information in diio
Enter your phone number
You’ll receive a verification code via WhatsApp
Enter the code in diio to validate your number
Once validated, you’ll be able to chat directly with diio via WhatsApp and send information for analysis.
From that moment on, diio doesn’t just receive audio files — it can also understand the context of your conversations, answer questions about what happened, and help you prepare your next steps. Yes, like a crystal ball 🔮

Step 2: Record the in-person meeting
For diio to analyze the conversation:
Record the meeting audio using any recording app on your phone
Make sure the audio is clear and complete
Step 3: Send the audio to diio via WhatsApp
Open the diio chat in WhatsApp
Send the meeting audio file
diio will ask for some contextual information (for example: participant emails, meeting type, or other details needed for analysis)
Answer those questions to complete the process
When prompted, select the corresponding calendar event (the one created without a video call link) so the meeting can be properly associated
Step 4: Review the analysis in diio
Once processing is complete:
The meeting will automatically appear in Past Meetings and in My Meetings (if correctly linked to the calendar event).
You’ll find:
Conversation summary
Key insights
Commercial learnings
Useful information for follow-up
This way, you can keep all your commercial activity centralized — even when it happens outside a video call.
Best practices
Always schedule in-person meetings in your calendar without a video call link
Record in a low-noise environment
Avoid stopping the recording before the conversation ends
Provide accurate context when diio requests it
Review the analysis to prepare your next follow-up
