With the WhatsApp integration, diio can analyze your WhatsApp conversations, just as it does with your meetings. You decide which conversations are analyzed: nothing is analyzed until you approve each phone number individually.

In diio, go to My Preferences › Integrations.

Under WhatsApp, turn on the toggle.

A QR code will appear on your screen. Keep it open for Step 3.

Open WhatsApp and tap You (your profile picture in the bottom-right corner).

That's it! Your WhatsApp is now connected.

In My Preferences › Integrations, click Conversations next to WhatsApp.

In the Pending tab, you'll see the phone numbers you've exchanged messages with. Decide what to do with each number individually:

Accept: diio analyzes conversations with that number. Messages received since you linked WhatsApp will be processed once you accept the number.

Skip: diio will never analyze conversations from that number.

You can review your choices in the Accepted and Skipped tabs.

Important: Messages Are Not Processed Retroactively

diio only captures messages from the moment you link WhatsApp by scanning the QR code. Conversations from before the link was established are not included.

Does diio read all my WhatsApp chats?

No. diio only analyzes conversations with phone numbers you accept. All other numbers remain pending or are skipped.

What happens to messages I received before accepting a phone number?

If the messages arrived after you linked WhatsApp by scanning the QR code, they will be processed once you accept the
