How to upload audio from calls or in-person meetings via WhatsApp

If you made a call from your phone or had an in-person meeting, you can upload the audio directly to the diio WhatsApp chat for it to analyze. diio guides you with questions to classify it correctly and within a few minutes the analysis is available in the app.

Step by step

Open the diio WhatsApp chat on your phone.

Tap the attach button (paperclip or "+" depending on your WhatsApp version).

Select the audio file from your gallery or file manager.

diio receives the audio and asks a first question: is it a call or a meeting?

If it is a call:

Answer "call".

diio shows audio fragments and asks you to assign which voice belongs to each person.

Confirm the assignment.

diio processes the audio. Within a few minutes it appears as a Call in "All Conversations".

If it is a meeting:

Answer "meeting".

Provide the names and emails of the participants.

Select the calendar event this audio corresponds to.

diio processes the audio. Within a few minutes it appears as a Meeting in "All Conversations".

Why it matters to associate the audio with the calendar event

When you associate the audio with an existing event, diio can link the meeting to the correct contact and deal in the CRM, and apply the playbook you had assigned for that meeting. If you don't associate it, diio analyzes the audio but may not classify the meeting correctly in your pipeline.

Supported audio formats

diio accepts the most common formats: MP3, M4A, WAV, and OGG. The audio must have at least two voices and exceed the minimum duration configured in Validations (by default, 60 seconds of total speech).
