How to integrate diio with WhatsApp? 📱

If you're already using diio in your video calls, you can now activate it in your WhatsApp Web chats too. This way, all the valuable information you share with your clients gets captured and available in My Messages, without any extra effort.

How does it work?

Just like diio joins your video meetings automatically, you can now enable it in your WhatsApp chats. You choose which conversations to activate diio in — we’ll handle the rest.

What do you need to do?

  1. Install the diio Chrome extension here.

  2. Log in by clicking the diio icon in your browser.

  3. Open WhatsApp Web and switch on diio in the chats you want to capture.

That’s it! diio now works with you in WhatsApp too.

Where is the information stored?

diio saves the key takeaways from the conversation as a Note on the corresponding contact in your CRM.

If that contact is linked to other objects (like a deal, company, or opportunity depending on your CRM), diio will also add the note there.

To ensure this works correctly, make sure the contact’s phone number is saved in the proper format:

Salesforce: no +, no spaces (e.g. 56912345678)

Zoho: with or without +, no spaces (e.g. +56912345678 or 56912345678)

Pipedrive: with or without +, no spaces (e.g. +56912345678 or 56912345678)

HubSpot: with + and international format (e.g. +56-1-2345-6789)

If the number isn’t in the correct format, the note can’t be automatically associated.
