The diio MCP connects Claude directly to your diio instance so you can check sales metrics, analyze conversations, search for deals and contacts in your CRM, and review scheduled meetings, all without leaving Claude.
Before you start
Activation has two levels:
An administrator must configure the connector once for the entire organization.
Then, each user must connect it from their own account.
Optionally, the diio skill can also be installed to use it in Claude Cowork.
Part 1: Connector setup administrator
This step must be completed by one person with administrator permissions. Its purpose is to enable the connector for the entire team.
1. Go to connector settings
In Claude, go to: Organization settings → Connectors
Click Add in the top right corner and select Add custom connector.
2. Enter the connector details
Complete the form with these exact values:
Name: diio
Click Add to save. The connector will appear in the list with the CUSTOM label. From that moment on, team members will be able to connect it from their individual accounts.
Part 2: Activation by each user
1. Connect the diio connector
Go to: Settings → Connectors → Custom connectors
Find diio and click Connect.
2. Authenticate with your diio account
An authentication window will open. Sign in with Google or Microsoft, depending on your organization’s provider. Review the permissions and click Authorize.
3. Confirm that it is active
When you return to the connectors screen, you will see the Connected status. The MCP is now active for your account.
Part 3: Install the diio skill in Claude Cowork optional
Recommended for teams that use Claude Cowork. The skill allows you to invoke the assistant directly and helps Claude better understand the MCP’s functionality.
Automatic installation
Download the diio .skill file from the link available in the organization’s resources article.
Double-click the file. It will be installed in: .claude/skills/diio-assistant/
Open a new conversation in Claude Cowork and type /diio
Manual installation
Create the folder .claude/skills/diio-assistant/
Place the SKILL.md file inside that folder.
Open a new conversation in Claude Cowork and type /diio-assistant
What you can do with the diio MCP
Once connected, Claude can help you with queries such as:
Metrics and reports: “Which executives had the most calls this week?”
CRM search: “Find the deal for Company XYZ”
Conversation analysis: “What objections are most frequent in this month’s calls?”
Scheduled meetings: “Which calls do I have connected to diio today?”
Important
The diio MCP is in beta. It may make mistakes, be updated frequently, and may not be continuously available. Also:
It works with read-only access: it cannot write or modify information in diio.
Each user can only access the information their permissions already allow them to see in diio.
Frequently asked questions
Which conversations can the MCP access?
The MCP can only access the conversations that the user can already see in diio. If a user does not have access to certain conversations, for example, conversations from another team, the MCP will not be able to see them either.
Does diio log the interactions that happen through the MCP?
diio does not have visibility into the original content of the query the user made to the LLM. It only records which MCP function was executed to process the request.
