How to choose the correct playbook for a conversation

diio automatically assigns a playbook to each conversation based on the executive's team and the conversation type. When the automatic assignment is not correct, you can change it manually before or after the analysis.

How diio assigns the playbook automatically

When a conversation enters diio, the system chooses the playbook based on:

The executive's team: the playbooks assigned to their team are reviewed.

The conversation channel: video call, phone call, or messaging. If the playbook has a specific channel defined, it only applies to that channel.

The playbook description content: if the conversation matches the playbook description, it will assign it automatically.

When to review the automatic assignment

The team has multiple playbooks assigned for the same channel (for example, Discovery and Demo are both video calls).

The conversation is a rare type that diio does not easily identify.

The generated analysis does not match the actual purpose of the conversation.

How to change a conversation's playbook

If the assigned playbook is not the correct one, you can change it from the conversation detail view by clicking the Update button next to the playbook name.

How to anticipate the correct assignment

Add a description to the calendar event indicating the conversation type before it occurs.

From the Upcoming Meetings view in diio, manually assign the playbook before the conversation starts.

If the team always does the same type of conversation, assign a single playbook to the team so the assignment is direct.
