When diio receives an audio with more than one voice, it needs to know who each one belongs to. Voice assignment is important because commitments, mood, and performance are calculated per person. An incorrect assignment distorts the analysis of who said what.
During upload via WhatsApp
When uploading audio, diio detects how many distinct voices there are and labels them as "Voice 1, Voice 2, …". It then asks you to assign them in the same chat:
diio shows each detected voice.
For each one, select the participant's name or email from the list.
Confirm. If there are more than two people, the process repeats for each voice.
From the detail view
If you didn't assign voices during the upload, or if you want to correct them afterwards, you can do it from the conversation:
Open the conversation in All Conversations.
In the Participants card, click "Edit".
Reassign each voice to the correct participant.
Save. diio recalculates the analysis with the updated assignment.
