The Category is the second level of the playbook hierarchy. It groups playbooks that share a similar intent within the same Type. It allows organizing and quickly finding the correct playbooks when there are several available.

The Category you choose when creating a playbook influences the available default fields, predefined success indicators, and the vocabulary diio uses to evaluate the conversation. It is not just an organizational filter.

Each category has predefined diio playbooks that you can use directly or duplicate to customize. If you create a playbook from scratch, the category you choose will determine the default fields diio proposes in the next step.
