Deleting a team is a permanent action and can't be undone. It's best to prepare before you do it.
Before deleting
Move the people who are still at the company to the appropriate team.
Review which playbooks it had assigned and decide whether another team should use them.
Keep in mind that the team's conversations will change owner, and with that, who can see them changes too.
If the team stopped operating but you want to keep the structure of its history, consider removing its people and playbooks instead of deleting it. It stays empty but intact.
Steps to delete the team
Go to diio settings → Teams and open the team.
Go to the team's "Settings" tab.
Click "Delete team".
The "Reassign conversations before deleting" dialog opens. Choose the team the conversations will move to and confirm.
What happens to the data
Conversations. They move to the team you choose in the "Reassign conversations before deleting" dialog. Choosing one is required, so no conversation is left outside every team; the default team works as a fallback.
Playbooks. They aren't deleted. They only lose their assignment to that team and remain available to assign to others.
People. They aren't deleted from the account. They just leave the team, and remain active on any other teams they belong to.
Occupied seats aren't released when you delete a team. If you also want to release seats, you need to deactivate the people who no longer use diio.
