When diio analyzes a LinkedIn conversation, the mechanism for associating with the CRM contact varies by CRM. HubSpot uses the contact's LinkedIn URL; the rest of the CRMs use the name.
HubSpot: association by LinkedIn URL
diio searches HubSpot for a contact whose LinkedIn URL field matches the profile of the person you had the conversation with. For this to work, the "LinkedIn URL" field of the contact in HubSpot must be complete and exact.
Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, and Odoo: association by name
diio searches for a contact whose name matches the name visible in the LinkedIn thread. This association is less precise than HubSpot's because it depends on the name in LinkedIn and the CRM being identical.
What to do if the association fails
If diio cannot automatically associate the conversation (URL missing in HubSpot, ambiguous or different name in other CRMs), it notifies you in the analysis. In that case:
Open the Update CRM flow from the conversation detail view.
In the contact step, manually search and select the correct contact.
Complete the sync normally.
